It really wasn't supposed to be a month before I posted, but it's been somewhat productive! I've spent most of the past month taking photos. My friend Mel spent much of that time with me and we've been all over Houston and the surrounding area. You can see many of them by going to my flickr which is in the links section to the right.

So that's what I've done the past month but what is really interesting is what I did this weekend. I attended my very first Gay Pride Parade. I'm still absolutely overwhelmed by all the beautiful people I saw and beautiful energy I felt. I took over 400 pictures but there are a few that "say it all" as far as I'm concerned. I'll post them in the following blog entries. I hope you are as taken by them as I am.

Not much today

I need to get some self portraits going! My friend Mel has so many I'm thinking she's really got it going on. For me, catching me WITH makeup is quite a challenge so maybe tomorrow night after I get home I'll throw a little on and see what I can do. NO photo with NO makeup! lol

I didn't get out to take photos today but tomorrow I'm going on a road trip and taking my camera! Hopefully I'll get some shots of small town life. :) Meanwhile, here is my baby boy...

Jessica's Photo Shoot

Jessica and I had another photo shoot today. I'm still learning the new camera so out of 100 shots, I'm happy with about 10. Wonder if those odds will get better or will I just get more critical? Will post photos of today's shoot and yesterday's after I've gotten a little sleep.
